French Lake is a 346 acre lake located three miles southwest of the City of Annandale. It has a maximum depth of 50 feet and moderate water clarity. French lake has a 5,442 acre watershed primarily composed of cropland (47%), pasture (12.9%) and forest (12.8%). A public access is located on the NW side of the lake.

Our members work together to preserve and protect French Lake for our future generations while balancing the needs of wildlife, fish, and recreation.

We welcome new members who are interested in helping us achieve a balance between all users and landowners.

We are involved in a multi-year treatment of Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM).

Please pay your checks for Eurasian Water Milfoil ($200) and lake association membership ($50) to French Lake Improvement Association and give them to Tom Van der Hagen.

Checks can also be mailed to: French Lake Improvement Association
